Pierre BREESE

> Relevant Experience
Pierre Breese focuses his practice on information technologies, telecommunications, business methods and software patent prosecution and litigation. He is also involved in olfactory creation protection and the study of the relationship of knowledge management and IP.

> Background
Mr. Breese became a European Patent Attorney in 1994. He was the IP Manager for the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM). Mr. Breese is the founder of the Marius Lavet (engineer/inventor) Award under the auspices of the Foundation de France in collaboration with the Foundation of Arts and Métiers, of CNISF and the Académie des Technologies.

> Awards and Professional Recognition
Mr. Breese is the author of several books relating to IP: IP at the Service of Innovation (Nathan/INPI 2005) and Financial Evaluation prefaced by Alain Pompidou (LGDT 2004), IP Strategies (DUNOD 2002), Legal issue of electronic commerce and Internet (VUIBERT 2000), and Olfactory trademarks (LPM 1999).



He teaches IP law in engineering schools such as the Ecole des Mines, IEEPI, ENST, ENSAM and HEC.
